How your body performs, both physically and mentally, is directly related to what you eat. Food is your fuel and is broken down to make raw materials such as hormones, enzymes and neurotransmitters.
A body which lacks good quality fuel will struggle to function properly, which may cause deterioration in overall health and increased susceptibility to infection and disease.
Nutritional therapy is about promoting optimum health and treating disease through a diet of organic, whole foods, as well as natural supplements. It is a holistic approach to health, in that the whole body is treated in order to find the underlying problem rather than treating the symptoms.
A diet rich in whole foods, along with additional intake of natural nutrients (vitamins, minerals, essential fats and amino acids), can be a very powerful tool in healing. It can also help to prevent disease and may help to override genetic predisposition to certain conditions.
Nutritional therapy has been shown to help improve many conditions including:
| Allergies/intolerance | Diabetes | Low energy/Fatigue |
| Anxiety/Depression | High BP/Cholesterol | ME/Fibromyalgia |
| Arthritis/Osteoporosis | IBS/Digestive disorders | Migraine/Headache |
| Asthma/Eczema | Infertility | PMS/Menopause |
| Behavioural problems | Insomnia | Weight Issues |
